Job summary

The Best Connection is currently looking for an HGV Cat C+E tipper driver to work in Winchester. The role involves delivering and collecting grain from farms to mills, with a Monday to Friday pattern and night outs as required.

You will complete vehicle checks, prepare delivery paperwork, and maintain clear communication with farmers and the shift manager. A valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph card are essential, with training provided.

• Training is provided and overtime may be available.

Responsibilities

• Drive tipper vehicles and collect grain to mills; deliver and collect grain from farms.
• Complete vehicle checks and accurate delivery paperwork.
• Call farmers an hour before arrival to confirm correct area on the farm.
• Staying away during the week with overtime potentially on weekends.

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver - Tipper/Tramping

Salary: £43,661 basis with night out and meal allowance

About Us

The Best Connection are currently looking for an HGV Cat C+E tipper driver to work for our client based in Winchester. The job has NO Heavy lifting. It is Monday to Friday with a guaranteed 10 hour daily pay with overtime available on weekends. Must have tipper experience and be happy to do night outs. Training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• The normal working week is Monday to Friday, overtime available on weekends
• The work will involve staying away during the week
• You will receive training for your first week from a Full time driver

Completing vehicle checks and accurate delivery paperwork.

The role is delivering and collecting grain from Farm to Mills.

• Good communication skills are key as you need to call farmers an hour before arrival to ensure you go to the correct area on the farm.
• Reporting any issues to shift manager

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

Class 1 Tipper experience, and happy to do night outs

Must have previous tramper experience

Excellent communication skills and a neat appearance

Good numeracy and literacy skills
