Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an HGV Class 1 driver for tipper/tramping in Winchester. You will work Monday to Friday with overtime on weekends and be prepared for nightly outs. Training will be provided as you settle into a modern fleet and a supportive team.

Responsibilities include delivering and collecting grain, performing vehicle checks, and ensuring accurate paperwork. Strong communication with farmers and prompt issue reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Class 1 Tipper experience.
• Experience as a tramper.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good numeracy and literacy.

• The work will involve staying away during the week.
• Completing vehicle checks and accurate delivery paperwork.
• The role is delivering and collecting grain from Farm to Mills.
• Call farmers an hour before arrival to ensure correct farm area.

Salary: £43,661 basis with night out and meal allowance

About Us

The Best Connection are currently looking for an HGV Cat C+E tipper driver to work for our client based in Winchester. The job has NO Heavy lifting. It is Monday to Friday with a guaranteed 10 hour daily pay with overtime available on weekends. Must have tipper experience and be happy to do night outs. Training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• The normal working week is Monday to Friday, overtime available on weekends
• The work will involve staying away during the week
• You will receive training for your first week from a Full time driver

Completing vehicle checks and accurate delivery paperwork.

The role is delivering and collecting grain from Farm to Mills.

• Good communication skills are key as you need to call farmers an hour before arrival to ensure you go to the correct area on the farm.
• Reporting any issues to shift manager

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

Class 1 Tipper experience, and happy to do night outs

Must have previous tramper experience

Excellent communication skills and a neat appearance

Good numeracy and literacy skills
