Job summary

The Best Connection (Newcastle) is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver for a client in the Hexham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for local, ongoing work with a reputable civil engineering specialist.

You will operate an 8-wheel Class 2 tipper, transporting aggregates, soil and muck-away materials, and you will navigate active sites safely while performing daily walk-around checks. Tachograph and driving regulations must be followed; CPC and Digital Tachograph card are

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience operating a tipper or 8-wheel rigid vehicle preferred.
• Good knowledge of the North East road network.
• Ability to work independently and follow site safety protocols.

The Best Connection (Newcastle) is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our well-established client based in the Hexham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver looking for consistent, local work with a reputable civil engineering specialist.

The Role:

• Operating an 8-wheel Class 2 Tipper vehicle.
• Transporting aggregates, soil, and "muck-away" materials in your role as an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver
• Navigating active construction sites and quarries safely.
• Conducting daily vehicle walk-around checks.
• Adhering to all tachograph and driving regulations as an HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

Pay & Hours:

• £15.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday operation.
• Ongoing, long-term work available for the right HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous experience operating a tipper or 8-wheel rigid vehicle (preferred).
• Good knowledge of the North East road network.
• Ability to work independently and follow site safety protocols.
