Job summary

SolviT Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a reliable HGV Class 2 driver for a temp-to-perm role in the Leicester area. Experience with RORO/Skip is essential; you will start with a training period and then move to a 4 on 4 off pattern with early starts.

The position offers regular weekly pay, paid holidays and an opportunity to upskill to HGV Class 1 in time, with a supportive team and onsite parking. No night shifts required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence with at least 1 year of experience.
• Experience operating RORO and skip vehicles.
• CPC and digital tachograph card are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
• Ensure safety and reliability of vehicle and loads.
