Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers to operate refuse trucks in Leicestershire for temporary ongoing work. You will join a crew to complete collections of general waste, recycling, garden and food waste on planned routes.

We require a full UK driving licence with Cat C, Digi card and CPC, no more than 3 points, and prior rear steer experience. Shift times are Mon-Fri starting at 06:30, ~37 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Cat C (HGV 2) qualification.
• Digi card and CPC Card.
• No more than 3 points on licence.
• Previous rear steer experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive refuse trucks in the Leicestershire area.
• Work with loaders to complete planned routes for waste collections.

Job Description

HGV Class 2 drivers required to drive refuse trucks in the local Leicestershire area.
Working as a refuse truck driver, you will go out with a crew of loaders to planned routes to complete the collections of local general waste, recycling, garden and food waste.
You will be a professional and calm driver who ideally has experience of driving a rear steer vehicle in residential areas. You will also be a great team player, reliable and hard-working.

Duration: Regular and ongoing work available.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £15.17 per hour.Holiday is accrued up to 28 days per year, pro rata.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday work with 06:30am starts. You will usually work around 37 hours per week.
