Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a HGV 2 driver with rear steer experience to support the local community as a refuse lorry driver in Swadlincote. The role is temporary with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Hours are Monday to Friday, around 04:00 start, typically 10-hour shifts. Paying £16.08 per hour, with the closing date 2026-09-13.

Qualifications

• Valid Cat C licence, CPC and tacho are required.
• Rear steer experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive refuse lorry on local routes.
• Maintain compliance with road safety and tachograph rules.
• Complete daily checks and records.
