Job summary

The role may involve assisting with bin loading and vehicle checks. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and a digital tachograph card, with a full UK licence and a positive, safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card holder preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicles on local rounds.
• Work as part of a crew to complete collections safely and efficiently.
• Assist with loading and moving bins when required.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and report faults.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, supervisors and the public.
