Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers in Milton Keynes for a temp-to-perm role with day and night shifts. Pay is £18.00–£20.00 per hour with weekly PAYE.

Main duties include delivering fresh, ambient and frozen products, manual handling of cages, and ensuring loads are secure.

Candidates must hold UK Class 2 licence (Category C), in-date CPC and Digi card, and be able to work on highways in demanding environments.

• Valid HGV UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• In-date CPC and Digi card.
• Comfortable working on highways and in physically demanding environments.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers with their global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role:

HGV Class 2 Driver - Main duties and requirements are:

• Managing the delivery process from site to customer of fresh, ambient and frozen products
• Manual handling of cages
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery device
• Newly Passed accepted
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR/DG / BA/CD/TT99 offences)

Working Hours:

• 5 shifts on, 3 shifts off
• Night shifts start times vary between 02:00 and 05:00

Pay:

• Day Standard rate of £18.00 per hour
• Night Standard rate of £20.00 per hour

What We're Looking For:

• Valid HGV UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• In-date CPC and Digi card
• Comfortable working on highways and in physically demanding environments
