Job summary

Evri Gatwick depot is seeking a Night Driver with a UK HGV Class 2 license to join our expanding team. You’ll work 40 hours per week on 5 shifts out of 7, with routes delivering palletised parcels and updating paperwork to ensure on-time deliveries.

We offer a base rate of £18.03 per hour, overtime at £27.05, and a generous package including 32 days’ annual leave, a 3% pension contribution and life assurance, plus flexible benefits tailored to you.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2(Cat C) entitlements and CPC.
• Digital tachograph experience.
• Able to pass a short driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Drive 4–5 drops per run and safely transport palletised parcels.
• Keep paperwork up to date and accurate.
• Work 40 hours per week across 5 shifts out of 7; rotas provided.

We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Night Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Gatwick depot.

Nightshifts typically start at 20:00 - 03:00

What You’ll Do:

OurHGV Class 2drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collectingfromDelivery Units (that's where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4 - 5drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping thepaperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week,but flexible contracts and part time hours are available.Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2(Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph. Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
