Drivers Today in Stoke-on-Trent area is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for a pallet distribution company. Regular Monday-Friday day shifts with 07:30 starts, about 45 hours per week, and a long-term, stable role.

You will drive an 18-tonne curtain-sider, complete multi-drop deliveries and provide friendly, professional customer service across familiar routes in CW/WA postcodes. Weekly pay and consistent hours offered.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• At least 12 months' Class 2 multi-drop experience.
• Pallet delivery or pallet-network experience preferred.
• Confidence with curtain-sided vehicles, tail lifts and pump trucks.
• Reliable, professional approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to businesses and residential customers.
• Multi-drop deliveries typically 15–20 drops per day.
• Deliveries mainly across CW and WA postcodes.

Drivers Today are looking for experienced HGV Class 2 / Category C Drivers for a busy, well-established pallet distribution company based in Longport, Newcastle-under-Lyme, near Stoke-on-Trent.

If you're fed up with changing jobs every day, unpredictable shifts or starting work in the middle of the night, this could be just what you're looking for!

We're offering regular Monday-to-Friday day work, with 07:30 starts, approximately 45 hours per week and the opportunity to settle into a long-term position.

What's on Offer?

• £17.00 per hour PAYE including holiday pay

What Will You Be Doing?

You'll be driving an 18-tonne Class 2 curtain-sided vehicle, delivering palletised goods to businesses and residential customers.

The Work Involves

• Multi-drop pallet deliveries, typically 15-20 drops per day
• Deliveries mainly across Cheshire and Warrington (CW and WA postcodes)
• Clustered local delivery routes
• Customer collections
• Using a tail lift and pump trucks
• Completing delivery paperwork
• Providing friendly, professional customer service

You'll be covering familiar delivery areas, allowing you to get to know your routes and customers.

What Do You Need?

• A valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• At least 12 months' Class 2 multi-drop experience
• Previous pallet delivery or pallet-network experience
• Confidence using curtain-sided vehicles, tail lifts and pump trucks
• A reliable, professional approach to work

Counterbalance forklift experience would be a bonus, but isn't essential.
