Job summary

Montgomery Transport Group is seeking a driver in Preston, United Kingdom, to handle daily deliveries with bulk and multi-drop routes. You must hold a DCPC qualification, a current digital tachograph, and a valid UK licence, plus a clean record (≤6 points). Strong planning, accuracy in paperwork, and fluent English are essential.

PDA-delivered sign-offs and Pallet Network experience are advantageous. Typical shifts are days, 40 hours per week with overtime availability.

Qualifications

• DCPC qualified with a current Digital Tacho and UK driving licence.
• Police record: no more than 6 points and no DND.
• Desirable prior commercial driving experience and good geographical knowledge.
• Experience completing vehicle checks via a digital app.
• Ability to sign off deliveries via PDA.
• 100% accuracy in paperwork is essential.
• Strong planning and time management to meet deadlines.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Bulk & multi-drop experience with Pallet Network is preferable.

Requirements.

• You must be DCPC Qualified hold a current Digital Tacho and UK license.
• No more than 6 points and NO DND.
• Desirable previous commercial driving experience and good geographical knowledge
• Experience of fully completing vehicle check in and checkout via digital app.
• Ability to sign off deliveries via PDA.
• Able to complete paperwork with 100% accurate data is essential.
• Planning and time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Bulk & Multi drop working with Pallet Network preferable.

Shifts and Pay:

• Days - £15.50 p/h 40 hours a week
• Monday to Friday, Days.
• Occasional weekend work
• Overtime rate £17.50
