Job Overview

Our prestigious client based in Cullompton is recruiting a full-time, permanent LGV Cat C / HGV Class 2 Driver. Training will be provided.

Requirements for HGV Class 2 / LGV Cat C Driver

• Have in-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards
• Hold a valid Class 2 / Cat C Licence
• Have no more than 6 penalty points for speeding or mobile phone use due to insurance restrictions
• Be over the age of 25 years old due to insurance restrictions

Responsibilities

• Driving a specialised Class 2 lorry adapted to the products you will be transporting
• Delivering timber products such as roof trusses
• Working within the Engineered Timber Industry
• Minimal manual handling due to the use of lifting equipment
• Longer distance deliveries with minimal drops
• Ratchet strap experience would be beneficial

What to Expect

• Working Monday to Friday
• 07:00 am start, hours depend on delivery schedule
• Permanent role for the successful candidate
• Pay rate of £13.00 per hour PAYE, with £1.56 holiday pay per hour, totaling £14.56 per hour on PAYE Advanced
