LGV Class 2/ LGV Cat C - Newly Qualified Welcome

Contract, Full time, Permanent

£15.96 per hour

Okehampton

Start Date: Immediately

Our client based in Okehampton is recruiting a full-time permanent HGV Class 2/ LGV Cat C driver. They welcome newly qualified HGV/LGV drivers as training is provided.

Requirements for HGV Class 2/ LGV Cat C Driver:

• Have valid CPC and Tacho Cards
• Hold a valid Class 2 licence
• Have no more than 6 SP penalty points on your licence due to insurance policy restrictions

Responsibilities include:

• Collecting domestic waste and/or kerbside recycling
• Working actively with loaders
• Helping to prepare bin bags for loading on the dustcart
• Ensuring recycling is correctly sorted on the truck

What you can expect:

• 40+ hours per week, mainly Monday - Friday
• Start at 07:00 am
• Work until the job is finished
• Working the following Saturday after a bank holiday (paid at time and a half)
• Pay rates start at £14.24 per hour plus 20 days accrued holiday, or £15.96 per hour with holiday pay included (PAYE Advanced)
