Our client based in Okehampton is recruiting a full – time permanent HGV Class 2/ LGV Cat C driver. They welcome newly qualified HGV/LGV as training is provided.

As a HGV Class 2/ LGV Cat C Driver you must:

• Have valid CPC + Tacho Cards
• Hold a valid Class 2 licence
• Have no more than 6 SP penalty points on your licence due to insurance policy restrictions

HGV Class 2/LGV Cat C Driver responsibilities include:

• Collecting domestic waste and/or kerb side recycling
• Drivers will actively work with the loaders
• Helping to collate the bin bags ready to load on the dustcart
• Ensure the recycling is put into the correct place on the recycling truck

The successful HGV Class 2/ LGV Cat C Driver can expect:

• 40+ hours per week, working mainly Monday – Friday
• Starting 07:00 am
• You will work the following Saturday after a bank holiday to catch up, paid time and a half
• Payrates start at £14.24 per hour plus 20 days accrued holiday. Alternatively, you can choose to have your holiday paid as you earn it, this equates to £14.24 per hour plus £1.75 per hour holiday pay which totals £15.96 per hour on PAYE Advanced.
