Job summary

Backline Avonmouth is currently recruiting full and part-time HGV Class 2 HIAB crane drivers based in Bristol and the surrounding areas for ongoing, flexible work. We have a large number of clients in Avonmouth and the Bristol region who need HIAB drivers, and we are looking to recruit either HIAB experienced drivers or those entering this field via our internal training programme.

You will deliver building materials via a lorry-mounted crane with sociable start times around 06:30 and finish

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2, LGV C licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
• CPC and digital tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Ensure load restraint is secure and safe for transport.
• Roles involve sociable start times around 06:30 with finishes around 17:00 or before.

We are currently recruiting full and part-time HGV Class 2 HIAB crane drivers based in Bristol and the surrounding areas for ongoing, flexible work.

We have a large number of clients in Avonmouth, Bristol and surrounding areas who are in continuous need for HIAB drivers. We are therefore looking to recruit either HIAB experienced drivers or those looking to move into this interesting type of work via our own internal training programme.

The Work

You will be delivering building materials to sites across the region using a lorry-mounted crane. The types of building materials on the load will vary greatly so a good amount of load restraint experience would be essential. Hours are very sociable with start times around 0630 and finish times approximately 1700 or before.

About you...

• Full UK Class 2, LGV C license with a maximum of 6 penalty points
• CPC and digital tachograph card
• An ability to drive steady and sympathetically in a rural environment would be essential.
• HIAB Certificate
