Job summary

CSS in Kelvedon, Essex is seeking a HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver to join a busy construction team. The role is flexible, starting ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis and paid at £17.00–£18.00 per hour.

You will operate a 7.5-tonne lorry, deliver to sites across Essex and Suffolk, and maintain accurate records while ensuring health and safety compliance. A valid UK HGV C1 license with CPC and Tachograph card is required.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 license with CPC and Tachograph card required.
• Hiab experience is a plus.
• Flexible temp-to-perm arrangement starts ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 7.5 Tonne lorry in line with company policies.
• Deliver to sites across Essex and Suffolk with accurate documentation.
• Carry out pre-journey checks and report faults.
• Ensure health and safety compliance at all times.

CSS have a great opportunity available in the Kelvedon, Essex area.

We are looking for a HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver to join the team at a busy construction company, who are looking to expand their team.

This would be a flexible role to start ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis.

Starting Pay £17.00/£18.00PH

A valid UK category C1 HGV driving license, CPC & Tacho Card are necessary.

Duties:

• Safely operate a 7.5 Tonne lorry in line with company regulations and policies
• Ensuring to deliever to different sites across Essex and Suffolk
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
• Conducting pre-journey vehicle inspections and report any faults or issues
• Make sure all Health & Safety compliance is met.
