Job summary

Driver Require are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client, GXO Logistics based in Swadlincote. This is ongoing work with potential for Temp to Perm for the right candidates. Newly qualified drivers welcome after induction.

After induction, you will complete double-manned training shifts before working solo, with shifts starting 03:00–07:00 and typically 10-15 drops per day delivering to high street stores. Weekend work and training are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Induction and training provided.
• Must be able to perform deliveries to high street stores.
• Double-manned training shifts before going solo after induction.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to well known high street stores.
• 10 - 15 drops per day.
• Offload cages using a tail lift.
• Shift starts 03:00 - 07:00 and some weekend work.

Driver Require are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client, GXO Logistics based in Swadlincote. This position is ongoing work, all year round with opportunity for Temp to Perm for the right candidates. Our client will also accept newly qualified HGV drivers!
Once inducted, you will need to complete a set amount of double manned training shifts before working solo (amount of training shifts depends on induction / driving assessment).

Experience preferred but will take new passes.

PAYE Pay Rate:

• Weekdays - £14.90 / hour
• Weekends - £16.45 / hour

Pay Rate: (inclusive of holiday pay)

• Weekdays - £16.70 / hour
• Weekends - £18.44 / hour

The Job:

• Will except new passes
• Any 5 out of 7 days
• 03:00 - 07:00 starts
• Must be able to work 1 day on the weekend
• Deliveries to well known high street stores
• 10 - 15 drops per day
• You will need to offload cages, using a tail lift
• Once inducted, double manned training shifts (route planning etc) will be offered until the driver / trainer signs you off to go solo
