Job summary

Driver Hire East London is seeking an experienced Class 2 (HGV C) Driver to join our team in East London. You will be delivering and collecting plant and construction equipment across East London and surrounding areas, loading and securing loads, and conducting vehicle checks to maintain high safety standards.

The role requires a Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph, and proven plant hire experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Plant Hire experience is essential.
• Experience delivering and collecting construction/plant equipment.
• Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Strong understanding of load security and road safety.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting plant and construction equipment across East London and surrounding areas.
• Loading and securing equipment safely for transportation.
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is maintained to a high standard.
• Completing delivery and collection paperwork.
• Liaising professionally with customers and site personnel.
• Working safely and in accordance with transport and health & safety regulations.

The Role
