Job summary

Smart Solutions is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for the AM shift, covering Birmingham and surrounding areas. You will collect commercial and industrial waste, perform pre-shift safety checks, and maintain high safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence required.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Knowledge of UK driving regulations and road safety.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Collect commercial and industrial waste from customer sites across Birmingham.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before each shift.
• Follow planned collection routes and schedules.
• Ensure collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Complete all collection paperwork accurately.
