Job summary

Smart Solutions is hiring a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Household Waste & Recycling team. You’ll drive an RCV wagon and collect green waste from Hereford, assisted by a loader, with a physically active role and strict health and safety standards.

Typical duties include loading/unloading cages, delivering a professional level of customer service, and performing daily vehicle checks while adhering to driver regulations.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence required.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Physically fit for loading/moving waste and recycling containers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle.
• Collecting household waste and recycling.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Provide excellent customer service at customer sites.
• Adhere to all driver regulations, health and safety procedures, and company policies.
