Job summary

Enva Recycling Scotland is seeking a Class 2 Trade Driver to join the Newbridge depot on a permanent basis. The role involves early starts, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with overtime eligibility, delivering safe, professional service on allocated routes.

You will be responsible for vehicle checks, waste collection from customers, and maintaining compliance with hours and highway regulations while upholding company standards and customer care.

Qualifications

• Full Class 2 driving licence is required.
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph compliance is required.
• Professional and organised approach is essential.
• Ability to manage time effectively and use initiative.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Collect waste from allocated customers.

Description

Enva Recycling Scotland is hiring a Class 2 Trade Driver to join the Newbridge depot in a permanent basis.

Working 45h a week, Monday - Friday, 4am to 2pm with eligibility for overtime

In this role, you will safely and competently operate assigned vehicles on allocated routes in a timely, professional and customer focused manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects ensuring that your vehicle is roadworthy and presentable to Company standards
• Collect all waste from allocated customers
• Comply with all legislation including driver’s hours and highway regulations
• Hold a duty of care to self & others
• Ensure vehicle security including equipment & plant
• Maintain of mandatory driver/vehicle records
• Provide customers with the highest level of service

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Hold full Class 2 driving licence
• Hold valid DCPC
• Hold valid Digital Tachograph
• Display professional and organised approach
• Handle good time management
• Display initiative
• Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles
• Have a willingness to perform a wide range of duties, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism
