Job summary

Sweeptech is hiring Class 2 HGV Road Sweeper drivers for the Southampton area. This full-time role covers day and night shifts with 50-hour weeks and overtime opportunities at competitive rates.

Requirements include a Category C license, Blue CSCS card, DCPC, and Digital Tachograph card. Minimum 1 year road sweeping experience is essential; a can-do attitude and team spirit are valued highly.

Responsibilities

• Operating one of our specialist vehicles at customer sites in the Southampton area, collecting various waste streams.
• Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks.
• Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily per company policy.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation.
• Exceeding our customers' expectations.

About the Company

We provide a wide range of services that include waste consultancy, water and sludge treatment, hazardous and inert liquid waste removal, high pressure jetting, drainage maintenance and cleansing, CCTV surveys, road sweeping, septic waste removal and emergency flood response for various industries.

Due to our continued growth, we currently looking for experienced Class 2 HGV Road Sweeper drivers to join our team covering the Southampton area on day and night shifts.

Hours of work will be 50 hours, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity for overtime and weekend work paid at competitive rates.

What will you be doing?

• Operating one of our many specialist vehicles at customer sites/areas collecting various waste streams from locations throughout the Southampton area.
• Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily in accordance with company policy.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation.
• Exceeding our customers' expectations.

What are we looking for?

• Class C (Cat C) Driving qualification
• 1 year Road Sweeping experience is essential
• Valid Blue CSCS Card is required
• Up to date DCPC
• Digital Tacho Card
• A can-do attitude
• A team player

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,976.00 per year (Day Driver)

Pay: £46,280.00 per year (Night Driver)

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Day and Night Shift
• Driving: 1 year road sweeper driving experience would be a bonus but not essential

License/Certification:

• Blue CSCS (Required)
• Driver CPC (preferred)
• Category C License (required)
