Job summary

Johnsons UK Services Limited in South London is seeking an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving Licence to join our team. You will deliver and load/unload goods from furniture to artwork, ensuring safe journeys and high-quality service to clients.

As part of a busy operations team, you will perform daily vehicle checks, comply with tachograph and safety rules, and support larger projects including laboratory relocations. Enhanced criminal record check is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold HGV Class 2 licence (essential).
• Enhanced Criminal Record Check or Baseline Security Check required.
• Knowledge of tachograph procedures is essential.
• ADR Packages knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle daily checks for assigned HGV Class 2/7.5t/3.5t vehicle.
• Ensure vehicle is equipped with relevant equipment for operations.
• Load/unload a range of furniture, soft furnishings, hardware, and artwork.
• Handle goods in/out of storage and move loads safely.
• Comply with health and safety standards on site and with company procedures.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving License to join our Johnson's team in our South London location.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and loading/unloading a range of goods from furniture to high valued artwork. You'll be part of a team delivering a premium service, loading and unloading, ensuring great care is put into the safe journey of our client's valued items and your colleagues.
