Job summary

Johnsons UK Services Limited in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving Licence to join the team. You will deliver and load/unload a range of goods from furniture to fine artwork, ensuring safe transport of valued items.

You will work as part of a premium service delivery team, maintaining high on-site standards and adhering to health and safety protocols during every shift.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required.
• Experience in team leadership or supervision preferred.
• Knowledge of legal tachograph procedures required.
• ADR packages knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle daily checks of allocated HGV Class 2/7.5t/3.5t.
• Ensure vehicle has equipment needed for the day’s operation.
• Lift and pack laboratory equipment, furniture and fine art.
• Take goods in or out of storage.
• Lift and move loads over 25 kg.
• Maintain high on-site standards at all times.
• Be responsible for health and safety of self and colleagues.
• Deliver excellent customer care and service.
• Comply with company and health & safety procedures.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving License to join our Johnson's team in our Edinburgh location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and loading/unloading a range of goods from furniture to high valued artwork. You'll be part of a team delivering a premium service, loading and unloading, ensuring great care is put into the safe journey of our client's valued items and your colleagues.

DailyResponsibilities
