Job summary

Star Platforms Ltd is expanding its transport fleet and seeks a qualified HGV Class 2 driver to join the Warrington depot. You will deliver and collect powered access equipment, keeping loads secure and compliant.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service mindset and ability to handle pressure.
• Experience with multi-drops is preferred, training provided for right candidate.
• Familiarity with transporting, loading and unloading plant/construction equipment is a plus.
• HGV Class 2 licence and Driver CPC are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect powered access equipment (cherry pickers and scissor lifts) in a safe, professional manner.
• Ensure the security of the load during loading/unloading and transport.
• Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks.
• Be an ambassador for Health and Safety standards and safe working practices.

Due to the expansion of our transport fleet, we are currently seeking an HGV Class 2 qualified driver to work out of our Warrington depot in the North West, carrying out deliveries and collections in a safe, compliant, and professional manner.

With seven strategically located depots, we offer powered access platform hire, sales, and training to individuals and businesses across the country.

Due to the expansion of our transport fleet, we are currently seeking an HGV Class 2 qualified driver to work out of our Warrington depot in the North West, carrying out deliveries and collections in a safe, compliant, and professional manner. We offer sociable hours with no overnight stays or late evenings, helping you achieve a work-life balance. You will be driving a 32t HGV rigid with no national or long-haul deliveries.

The Role:

• To deliver and collect powered access equipment (cherry pickers and scissor lifts) in a safe professional manner
• To ensure the security of the load when loading/unloading, transporting and delivering equipment
• To carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks
• To be an ambassador for the Company ensuring Health and Safety standards and best safe working practices are adhered to always

The ideal candidate will:

• Ideally have previous experience of multi-drops
• Preferably have previous experience in transporting, loading and unloading plant/construction equipment. However full training will be provided for the right candidate
• Understand the importance of excellent customer service
• Work well under pressure

Required licences or certifications:

• HGV Class 2 licence
• Driver CPC
