Job summary

DHL Asia Pacific Shared Services is seeking an HGV Class 2 driver for a permanent full-time role in Ashton-under-Lyne. The position offers a basic salary with quarterly bonus, night-out rate, and overtime potential to achieve ~£40K OTE.

Regular day shifts Mon-Fri with occasional nights out and nationwide deliveries. Benefits include free parking, generous annual leave, pension with employer contributions, and access to employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 or 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Have 12 months recent driving experience (minimum)

Responsibilities

• Work Mon-Fri day shifts, 6.30am start time, with approx 10 hours of overtime per week at time and a half
• Complete nights out shifts approx twice a week (more or less depending on business needs)
• Operate Class 2, 18 tonne curtainsided double deck vehicle with moving platform
• Use a handheld terminal to track products and deliveries
• Deliver products to commercial properties nationwide
• Drive in a safe and compliant manner following Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
