Job summary

DHL is seeking a Class 2 Driver for the night operation in Normanton, delivering car parts across Yorkshire and the North East. This permanent full-time role offers consistent routes and a supportive transport team to help you thrive in a critical supply chain operation.

A typical day includes multi drop deliveries, manual handling of cages, and safe driving in line with regulations. Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience of multi drop delivery is desirable but not essential.
• Ideally will have experience working in a night shift role previously.
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.

Class 2 Driver Pay Rate: £ 38,934 Grade: RCS P Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: 48 hours, Night Shift Monday - Friday 23:00 start Location: Normanton - WF6 1TF Immediate start available for the successful candidate - following successful assessment

We're seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our night operation in Normanton, delivering car parts across Yorkshire and the North East. With quieter roads, consistent routes, and the support of an experienced transport team, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a critical supply chain operation. Whether you're newly qualified or bring years of driving experience, we'll provide the support you need to thrive in the role.

A typical day may involve:

• Multi drop delivery of car parts to dealerships across Yorkshire and the North East
• Manual handling of rolling cages and use of manual pallet truck, as well as loading and unloading
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

This role would suit people who:
