Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 2 drivers for roles based in Yate, Bristol. You will join a friendly team performing residential refuse and recycling collections as part of a three-person crew, delivering reliable service across the local area.

Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced driver, the role offers structured inductions, ongoing training, and opportunities to develop. A strong safety culture and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only).
• Good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Residential refuse and recycling collections.
• Work as part of a three-person crew (1 Driver & 2 Loaders).
• Complete multi-drop collection rounds safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Maintain high safety and customer service standards.
• Work independently while supporting the wider team.
