Ideal candidates will hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence with multiple drop experience and a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service. The position offers potential permanency for the right person and local work in Stockton-on-Tees.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence.
• Relevant multi-drop delivery experience, ideally completing over 10 drops.
• Good knowledge of safe driving and vehicle checks.
• Ability to work independently and manage a planned delivery schedule.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of loading and unloading deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries, typically more than 10 drops per shift.
• Drive safely and follow all relevant legal requirements.
• Carry out vehicle checks before, during and after shifts.
• Load, secure and unload goods safely.
• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain proof of delivery.
• Provide a professional and courteous service at each stop.
• Report any delivery, vehicle or operational issues promptly.
