Job summary

Workchain in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support its transport operations. This temporary role focuses on multidrop deliveries and delivering professional service to customers in a reliable, safety-conscious manner.

You will drive a Class 2 vehicle, complete over 10 drops per shift, perform pre- and post-journey vehicle checks, and adhere to planned routes and company procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving entitlement.
• Experience completing multidrop deliveries (ideally 10+ drops per day).
• Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks.
• Reliable, punctual and well organised.
• Professional when dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Complete more than 10 multidrop deliveries per shift.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after journeys.
• Load, secure and unload goods safely.
• Follow planned routes and schedules.
• Provide professional customer service at collection and delivery points.
• Report vehicle, delivery, or route issues promptly.
• Comply with road safety, transport and company procedures.
