Job summary

Workchain is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a permanent daytime role in Street, Somerset. You will manage multidrop deliveries, loading and securing goods, and delivering a professional service to customers throughout the shift.

Ideal candidates hold an HGV Class 2 entitlement, are reliable and punctual, and can complete delivery paperwork accurately. You will be paid £16 per hour, with weekly payments on Wednesdays and opportunities to be visible to local employers.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 entitlement required.
• Experience with multidrop deliveries (10+ drops preferred).
• Strong knowledge of safe driving and delivery procedures.
• Reliable, punctual mindset and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Professional communication with customers and site contacts.
• Commitment to vehicle and road safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Complete multidrop routes with 10+ drops.
• Load, check and secure goods as required.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow planned routes and delivery instructions.
• Maintain a professional approach with customers and site contacts.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report issues promptly.
