Job summary

Bestway Group is seeking a HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our team in the UK. You will deliver to independent retailers, ensuring timely orders and excellent customer service across the local area.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card, and experience in multi-drop driving. You will work with the depot team, maintain paperwork, and uphold transport compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) UK driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience in multi-drop driving.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Good understanding of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Loading orders with depot team to ensure correct delivery.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries within local area and specified timeframes daily.
• Manual handling of stock on/off the vehicle.
• Ensure deliveries are received and payment is collected.
• Accurate recording of paperwork.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Manage chilled and frozen deliveries per procedures.
• Meet transport compliance requirements at all times.
• Provide the highest level of service to customers.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and safe working practices.
• Keep vehicle, stock and equipment secure at all times.
