Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Driver with a Cat C licence to join our Oswestry operations. You will collect recycling, refuse and green waste from domestic properties, drive and carry out loading duties, and perform vehicle checks.

The role offers a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday, start time 6:45am, with overtime when available. Part-time hours may be considered. We provide 21 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), pension, physiotherapy, discounts, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Cat C (Class 2) Licence is required.
• Driver CPC & Digi / Tachograph Card is required.
• Willingness to perform a mixed loading/driving role.

Responsibilities

• Collect recycling, refuse and green waste from domestic properties in Oswestry and surrounding areas.
• Drive and perform loading duties.
• Undertake vehicle defect checks and report issues.
• Record work on onboard tablet and ensure accuracy of collected data.
• Maintain cleanliness of carriageway and surroundings after collection.
