Job summary

Workchain Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a temporary/ongoing role in Alfreton. Immediate start available with regular, ongoing work and local/regional deliveries.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 / Cat C licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. You will perform daily safety checks, maintain loads safely and complete delivery paperwork efficiently.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 / Cat C licence required.
• Driver CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.

Responsibilities

• Driving an HGV Class 2 / Category C vehicle.
• Carrying out local and regional deliveries.
• Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation.
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Liaising with customers and delivery sites.
• Reporting any vehicle defects or issues.
