Job summary

JT Recruit is seeking a diligent HGV Class 2 Driver for our client in Alfreton (DE55). Regular Monday to Friday shifts start between 7am and 8am, with curtain-side vehicles and palletised goods deliveries locally and nationally.

The role requires a valid CPC, Tacho and UK licence, up to 6 points, and at least 2 years' experience. Excellent English and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Full CPC, Tacho & UK Licence are required.
• Maximum 6 points on licence.
• Minimum 2 years' driving experience.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods locally and nationally.
• Operate curtain-side vehicles.
• Handle 5–15 drops/collections per shift.
• Manage weekly bookings and ongoing work.
• Perform nationwide deliveries and collections.
• Work 8–12 hour shifts.
• Perform multiproduct drops.

Job description

JT Recruit are currently looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client in Alfreton (DE55). Immediate starts are available, working a regular Monday to Friday on an ongoing contract. Starting daily between 7am-8am. You will be delivering palletised goods locally and nationally.

About the Role:

• Curtain-side Vehicles.
• Between 5-15 drops/collections per shift.
• Weekly bookings & Ongoing work.
• Nationwide deliveries and collections.
• Shift length between 8-12 hours.
• Multipdrop.

About the Driver:

• Full CPC, Tacho & UK Licence.
• Maximum 6 points (for minor offences).
• Minimum 2 years' experience.
• Excellent understanding of the English Language.
• Excellent communication skills.

Rates of pay: £14.50
