Job summary

GAP Hire Solutions in the UK is looking for a competent HGV Driver with HIAB to load, deliver and collect hire equipment at customer sites across the region.

You will demonstrate equipment when required, complete checks and maintain hire administration while ensuring safety and compliance with road laws. A proven track record in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifications

• HGV licence and CPC qualification required.
• Experience delivering hire equipment in construction or events sectors.
• HIAB training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver and collect hire equipment to customers' sites promptly.
• Demonstrate equipment when required and complete checks.
• Handle administration related to hires and maintain vehicle logs.

The Role: Our nationwide Non Mechanical division hire a range of equipment including crowd control barriers, scaffolding and road plates to the events industry alongside our more traditional business sectors within the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors. The duties of the HGV Driver with HIAB will include loading, delivery and collection of hire equipment to and from the customer site in a timely and professional manner, demonstration (if required) and completing any relevant checks and administration involved for the hire. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

• HGV Licence
• HIAB Training preferred
• Driver CPC - 35hours must have been completed
