Job summary

GAP Group is hiring an HGV Driver with HIAB to join our nationwide team. You will load, deliver and collect hire equipment to customer sites across the UK in a timely and professional manner, with demonstrations when required and necessary administrative checks.

The role demands a proven driving record in a similar environment, safe and lawful operation at all times, and a commitment to customer service and company standards.

Qualifications

• HGV Licence is required.
• HIAB training is preferred.
• Driver CPC – 35 hours completed.
• Experience in a similar industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver and collect hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely, professional manner.
• Provide demonstrations if required and complete any relevant checks and administration.

The Role:

Our nationwide Non Mechanical division hire a range of equipment including crowd control barriers, scaffolding and road plates to the events industry alongside our more traditional business sectors within the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

The duties of the HGV Driver with HIAB will include loading, delivery and collection of hire equipment to and from the customer site in a timely and professional manner, demonstration (if required) and completing any relevant checks and administration involved for the hire.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

Applicants applying for the role of HGV Driver with HIAB should have/be:

• HGV Licence
• HIAB Training preferred
• Driver CPC - 35hours must have been completed
• Previous experience in a similar industry
