Job summary

GAP Group is hiring a HGV Driver with HIAB to join our nationwide Non Mechanical division. You will be responsible for loading, delivering and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites, with demonstrations when needed and completing related checks and administration.

The ideal candidate has proven driving experience in a similar environment, drives responsibly and safely at all times, and holds an HGV licence with HIAB training preferred and CPC hours completed.

Qualifications

• HGV Licence is required.
• HIAB Training preferred.
• Driver CPC - 35 hours must have been completed.
• Previous experience in a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Load, deliver and collect hire equipment to customer sites.
• Provide on-site demonstrations when required.
• Complete checks and administration for hire.

The Role:

Our nationwide Non Mechanical division hire a range of equipment including crowd control barriers, scaffolding and road plates to the events industry alongside our more traditional business sectors within the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.

The duties of the HGV Driver with HIAB will include loading, delivery and collection of hire equipment to and from the customer site in a timely and professional manner, demonstration (if required) and completing any relevant checks and administration involved for the hire.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving experience in a similar environment, driving responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

Applicants applying for the role of HGV Driver with HIAB should have/be:

• HGV Licence
• HIAB Training preferred
• Driver CPC - 35hours must have been completed
• Previous experience in a similar industry
