Job summary

Pure Staff Ltd in Manchester is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Driver for an ongoing temporary role with immediate starts. The work offers flexible weekday shifts and optional Saturday work, designed to fit around your availability while providing regular deliveries.

You will perform multi‑drop local deliveries of fresh fruit and vegetables, using a tail lift and pump truck, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely service and presenting a professional, courteous approach at every delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence held for at least 6 months.
• Minimum 3 months' HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Age 25 or older.
• Good understanding of UK road traffic laws and tachograph regulations.
• Reliable, flexible and professional attitude with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop local deliveries (typically 3–10 drops per shift).
• Delivering fresh fruit and vegetables to customers.
• Offloading using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Completing deliveries safely, accurately and on schedule.
• Providing a professional and courteous service at every delivery.
