Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting reliable HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for ongoing work across Greater Manchester. This multi-drop role involves delivering to commercial customers with 7-10 drops daily, rising to 12-20 at peak, using tail lifts and pallet pumps, and performing vehicle checks.

We offer flexible patterns (Mon-Fri, full-time or part-time), weekly pay, and a supportive team. Applicants should hold Category C licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and have up to 6 penalty

Qualifications

Valid Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
1-2 years' Class 2 experience preferred.
Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

Completing deliveries safely and efficiently.
Carrying out 7-10 drops per day, increasing to 12-20 drops during busy periods.
Using tail lifts, pallet trucks and pump trucks where required.
Delivering on curtain-sided vehicles, with some loads unloaded by forklift trucks at customer sites.
Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
Providing excellent customer service while representing both our business and our clients.
