Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting reliable HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for ongoing work across Greater Manchester. This multi-drop role involves delivering to commercial customers with 7-10 drops daily, rising to 12-20 at peak, using tail lifts and pallet pumps, and performing vehicle checks.

We offer flexible patterns (Mon-Fri, full-time or part-time), weekly pay, and a supportive team. Applicants should hold Category C licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and have up to 6 penalty

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
• 1-2 years' Class 2 experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out 7-10 drops per day, increasing to 12-20 drops during busy periods.
• Using tail lifts, pallet trucks and pump trucks where required.
• Delivering on curtain-sided vehicles, with some loads unloaded by forklift trucks at customer sites.
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Providing excellent customer service while representing both our business and our clients.

HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver – Ongoing Work Locations: Manchester | Trafford Park | Ashton-under-Lyne | Bolton | Irlam/Eccles | Wythenshawe Pay: £16.00 - £22.00 per hour (depending on experience) We're currently recruiting reliable and professional HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for ongoing work across a number of sites in Greater Manchester. The Role

This is a multi-drop HGV Class 2 driving role delivering goods to commercial customers across the North West. Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently
• Carrying out 7-10 drops per day, increasing to 12-20 drops during busier periods
• Using tail lifts, pallet trucks and pump trucks where required

Pay Rates

• Rates are dependent on experience, shift pattern and assignment

What We're Looking For

• Valid Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
• Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply, although 1-2 years' Class 2 experience is preferred
• Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
• Reliable, punctual and committed to safe working practices

PPE RequirementsThe following PPE must be worn whilst on site and during deliveries:

• High-visibility vest
• Safety boots
