Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Northampton is recruiting a HGV Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver on a temp-to-perm basis. You will deliver goods to retail stores across the UK, with typically 6–12 drops per day and 9–12 hour shifts starting between 04:00 and 08:00.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome. Full training provided, CPC and tachograph card required, maximum 3 points on licence, with overtime and weekly earnings around £800+. An excellent transport team supports you throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Hold a current Driver CPC (DQC card).
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Able to work a 5 on / 3 off shift pattern.
• Maximum 3 points on licence.
• Physically fit and capable of multi-drop work.
• Newly qualified drivers encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Delivering goods to retail stores across the UK.
• Typically 6–12 drops per day.
• Majority of deliveries are caged (90% simple drop & go).
• Occasional unloading inside stores required.
• Shift length: 9–12 hours.
• Start times: Between 04:00 – 08:00.
• Shift Pattern: 5 on 3 off.
