Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Coventry is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Transport team. This varied driving role focuses on delivering customer products safely, professionally and on time while representing DHL at customer locations across the UK.

The role requires flexibility, including nights out when necessary, with start times from 4:00 am to 14:00 pm and opportunities to develop a long-term driving career within our global logistics organisation.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Hold a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally have at least 6 months' recent HGV driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Completing multi-drop deliveries to customer locations including up to two nights out per week when required
• Driving safely and efficiently while complying with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive requirements
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring loads are transported and delivered safely
• Completing manual handling activities as required
• Providing a professional and helpful service to our customers
• Following DHL Health & Safety standards, The Highway Code and all relevant road transport regulations
• Completing nights out when required as part of the role
• Working flexibly to support changing operational and customer requirements
