Job summary

Jewson York is seeking a customer delivery driver to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. As the face of the company, you will be loading and unloading, operating the crane, and supporting team members across a varied drops schedule.

You'll hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and Digi Tachograph, with HIAB training provided. A friendly, proactive environment with training and progression opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card.
• Multidrop experience is handy but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver building materials to customers in a professional manner.
• Load and unload goods; operate the crane as required and support the team.
• Represent the company on site with a friendly, proactive approach.

What to expect

As a customer delivery driver and the face of the company, we’ll need you to safely deliver building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach. Every day is different, from the number of drops you’ll do, to where you will be delivering. You’ll be loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.

What are we looking for?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• A valid CPC Card and Digi Tachograph card
• Whilst multidrop experience is handy, it’s not a necessity
