Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Day Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity based at Breighton Airfield, YO8 6DJ. Deliver timber products to customer sites across West Yorkshire and the Midlands, with two runs per day (one morning, one afternoon).

You will work Monday to Friday with a modern, well-maintained fleet, free onsite parking, and a fully paid induction. Overtime is available and there are long-term prospects as the role moves to permanent after 12

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations.
• Positive attitude and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Class 2 (C) vehicle.
• Delivering timber products to customer sites.
• Securing, strapping, and unstrapping loads safely.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and transport documentation.
• Following health & safety, compliance, and driving regulations.
• Providing a professional, reliable, and customer-focused service.

This role involves delivering timber products to customer sites across West Yorkshire and the Midlands, completing two runs per day (one morning run and one afternoon run). Offering a stable Monday to Friday schedule, modern equipment, and excellent long-term prospects, this is a fantastic opportunity for a professional Class 2 driver looking for permanent employment.
