Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) Day Driver for a temp-to-perm role at Breighton Airfield, YO8 6DJ. You will deliver timber to sites across West Yorkshire and the Midlands, completing two daily runs. The role features a Monday to Friday pattern with a modern fleet and a clear path to permanent employment.

Offering £15.00 per hour with overtime and a thorough induction, the position includes ongoing training and a stable career trajectory within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class 2 (Category C) licence and CPC.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timber products to customer sites.
• Secure, strap, and unstrap loads safely.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and transport documentation.
• Follow health & safety, compliance, and driving regulations.
