Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 2 drivers for ongoing work in Swansea. You will deliver food and wholesale products to Booker Makro customers with multi-drop routes in the local area.

Shifts are typically 8–10 hours, starting around 06:00–07:00, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay and ongoing temporary work available.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card valid.
• No more than 6 points on licence and at least 6 months driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivering food and wholesale products to Booker Makro customers.
• Multi-drop deliveries across the local region.
• Shift length typically 8–10 hours; start between 06:00 and 07:00.
• Monday to Friday pattern with regular shifts.

Days | Monday to Friday | Immediate starts

Pay Rates: (Confirm whether holiday pay is accrued or included)

• Days £18.00 – Holiday inclusive rates £20.35
• Overtime if applicable £27.00 – Holiday inclusive rates £29.35

The role

• Delivering food and wholesale products to Booker Makro customers.
• Multi-drop deliveries across the local region.
• Average shift length 8-10 hrs
• Start times between 06:00 and 07:00
• Monday-Friday working pattern
• Manual handling required as part of the role.
• Ongoing temporary work with regular shifts available.
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift

Requirements

You must have:

• A valid UK HGV Class 2 licence
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• 6 Months experience required
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules
• A reliable and professional approach
