Job summary

RecruitEasy are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a client in Torquay, Devon. This temporary role starts immediately with a pay rate of £16.00–£17.50 per hour, paid weekly.

You will perform multidrop deliveries, handle loading/unloading, complete paperwork, and maintain vehicle checks. Ideal candidates hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence (Cat C), CPC card, and a Digital Tachograph card, with prior multidrop experience and solid knowledge of transport regulations.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence (Cat C) and CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• All relevant HGV tickets and qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out multidrop deliveries across the local area.
• Loading and unloading goods as required.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points.

HGV Class 2 Driver Required!

RecruitEasy are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work for our client based in Torquay, Devon.

Duration: Temporary

Start Date: 14-08-2026

Pay Rate: £16.00 - £17.50 Per Hour - paid weekly!

Pay rate depending on experience and/or tickets.

We do not use umbrella companies to process your pay!

Job Roles:

• Carrying out multidrop deliveries across the local area
• Loading and unloading goods as required
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Ensuring compliance with drivers' hours, tachograph, and road transport regulations
• Maintaining a safe and professional approach at all times

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• All relevant HGV qualifications and tickets
• Previous multidrop driving experience preferred
• Good knowledge of road safety and transport regulations
