Job summary

The Best Connection Stockport is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work with established transport and logistics companies across Stockport and the surrounding area. Immediate starts and regular Monday to Friday work are available, with opportunities that could lead to long-term employment.

We offer £17.00 per hour PAYE, with £25.50 per hour after 8 hours, and a minimum of 8 hours guaranteed per shift. Holiday pay accrues separately and is not rolled into the hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Category C / HGV Class 2 Licence required.
• Driver CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Professional and reliable approach.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Palletised deliveries and general haulage.
• Multi-drop deliveries and collections.
• Routes across Greater Manchester and the North West.
• Completing vehicle and delivery paperwork.
• Providing a professional service when representing our clients.

We are focusing on putting more money in your pocket, and can offer the following....

£17.00 per hour PAYE

£25.50 per hour after 8 hours

Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift
