About the role

We have exciting opportunities at RDC2 Haydock for Class 2 Drivers, offering:

• 45 hours over 5 days (any 5 of 7 days)
• Part-time hours available if preferred
• Flexible start times, to be discussed at interview
• Weekend work included, with weekend premium pay

You will be responsible for

• Delivering caged goods on time to customers within the site area & network
• Tipping and loading vehicles manually at customer locations
• Collecting backloads from third-party suppliers when required
• Performing multi-drop deliveries
• Communicating effectively with site and external customers
• Ensuring compliance with Drivers Hours and WTD regulations
• Maintaining fleet cleanliness and reporting vehicle defects

You will need

• LGV 2 Licence
• Experience with digital tachograph
• Geographical knowledge
• Operation of Tail Lifts (training available)
• Operation of refrigerated units (training available)
• Driver CPC qualification, with ongoing yearly training provided

Newly qualified drivers will also be considered.
